Lovers Path

The flowers trembled as the rays of love from the sun dwindled

Their once bright colours slowly faded like metals on a sunk ship

Bees and ladies that tasted and smelt their sweet fragrances now cocooned

So were the beautiful little birds that serenaded the pathway with their beautiful soft voices

Heavy rain poured like ashes from a volcano

Death tiptoed silently like a slow sound from a piano

Then came a fine linen that sheltered them from the rain

That shined bright even in the darkest night

Two lovers’ hearts

Interwoven

And every moment they went pass those flowers shined bright too

Cause everything glowed in the lovers path
